This Isn't Just Another DJ Course
Thousands of online tutorials can teach you the technical basics. But becoming a confident DJ is about developing an instinct for music, knowing what track to play next, trusting your choices and understanding how to build a set that flows.
Over four immersive days, you'll learn the essential skills from the ground up, with plenty of hands-on practice.
What Makes This Different
DJing is a conversation between you, the music and the people in front of you.
You'll learn how to read the energy of a room and shape it through rhythm, emotion, tension and release; creating musical experiences that invite connection, movement and, most importantly, fun.
What You'll Learn
On the final day, you'll bring everything together, selecting your music, building your set and stepping behind the decks to play it for the group. You'll finish with personal feedback and clear guidance on where to take your DJing next.
What You'll Walk Away With
By the end of the training you'll be able to:
You'll arrive as a beginner. You'll leave having actually DJed.
Who This Training Is For
For women who want to learn to DJ properly, from the ground up. Build real technical skills, understand how music moves a room, and leave having played your first DJ set.
Perfect. Absolutely no previous DJ experience is required. You don't need to be musical, technical or already understand DJ equipment. We start with the fundamentals and build your skills step by step.
Meet Your Trainer
As an educator, he combines professional DJ technique with musical storytelling, helping complete beginners build confidence behind the decks while learning how to read a room and create musical experiences that genuinely move people.
His approach is simple: learn the skills, trust your instincts, and have fun doing it.
Tristan's DJ journey began in the underground club culture of the mid-1990s. After stepping away from the decks for many years and becoming immersed in the corporate world, a personal and spiritual journey, driven by curiosity, eventually led him to discover Ecstatic Dance in 2014.
His first experiences on the ecstatic dance floor completely changed his relationship with music and movement, reigniting a passion for DJing. In 2016, he went on to found Ecstatic Dance Koh Phangan, which has grown into one of the world's longest-running weekly ecstatic dance communities, and later co-founded Ecstatica Festival, an international conscious festival born in Thailand and hosted in Sweden and Slovakia.
Tristan has since performed at festivals, retreats and transformational events globally. He has also DJed for Mindvalley University and A-Fest Ibiza, creating musical journeys for thousands of people at some of the world's leading personal development and conscious community events.
Alongside performing, Tristan has decades of experience producing events and facilitating dance floors. At the heart of his approach is something simple: "You have to LOVE what you're doing."
When a DJ is genuinely passionate about the music they're playing, moves with it and has fun behind the decks, people feel it on the dance floor.
Tristan brings this embodied enjoyment and his own zest for life into his teaching, encouraging students not just to learn the skills, but to trust their musical taste, play the music they love, and let their own energy and enjoyment become part of the experience they create.
Why We Keep The Group Small
The group is deliberately limited to just six women so you get plenty of time behind the decks, individual coaching and personal feedback throughout the four days.
You'll learn directly from Tristan, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, refine your skills, and receive guidance tailored to where you're at.
You'll also be learning alongside five other women at a similar stage, which makes it far easier to experiment, ask the obvious questions and take your first turn on the decks.
